Purchased chairs and stools for both cyber-bars in Noel Wien Library.

Paid for materials for Eagle Scout to design and construct two cell phone sound booths in Noel Wien Library. One is modeled after Dr. Who’s Tardis.
Coordinating Fundraising
In 1997 helped with an expansion of the Noel Wien Library.
In 2014 raised matching funds for Rasmuson Grant for furnishings and equipment in the new North Pole Branch Library.
In 2023 raised 1.5 million for the major renovation of the Noel Wien Library.
Continuous fundraising to keep the Libraries vibrant centers of the community.
Funding Annual Reading Programs
Provide partial funding for the Raven about Reading, Cabin Fever Reading, and Summer Reading programs.
Maintaining Museum-Quality Art
Purchased, framed, and displayed many fine pieces of art since 1979. Received donation of artworks from Gianni family, and covered expenses to insure and display them in Noel Wien and North Pole Branch Libraries.
Staff Development Stipends
Awarded stipends to several library staff to cover partial costs of course credits, library system software training, and conference attendance.
