Alaska Author Night – Sean McGuire

Long-time Fairbanks resident Sean McGuire has written two novels– “Two Toes and the Magic Pack” (2020) and “Phantom of Denali” (2023).

Two Toes is the story of what happens when a wolf pack learns, against all odds, how to survive the constant threat of airplane hunters. Phantom depicts the tale of a masked figure who frees wolves and other animals from traps around Denali National Park.

Both lively works of fiction delve deeply into Alaska’s complicated history with wildlife, through original and interesting story arcs filled with colorful characters.
