Alaska Author Night – David C Henry
From pre-statehood rural Alaska to frozen Siberia, David & Kay Henry’s book, Each of us One Lifetime: Living Out God’s Plan in Alaska and Siberia (2024), chronicles the couple’s extraordinary life and ministry.
The couple journeyed down the Yukon River on a raft constructed from driftwood to the Athabascan village of Koyukuk. They continued living and serving rural Alaska, translating Biblical texts. They lived in Siberia for 16 years after the fall of communism, assisting the growing Indigenous church with literature and compiling an original hymnal.
After Kay passed away, David completed the book in Fairbanks, where he continues to serve in the Fairbanks Native Bible Church. In addition to the reading and book signing, a limited number of books will be available for purchase.
