Author Night – Stan Jones

Stan is the author of two mystery series. The critically acclaimed Nathan Active mysteries are set in an Arctic village modeled on Kotzebue. His new series, the Dana Forsythe mysteries, is set in Palm Springs. He will read a passage from The Sand Garden, the first Palm Springs mystery, then read the same passage from a screen adaptation now in progress. He has worked as a radio and newspaper journalist. While at the Fairbanks News-Miner, his exposure of a state leasing scandal led to impeachment proceedings against then-Gov. Bill Sheffield.
