All gifts will directly benefit the Noel Wien Library renovation.
If you are 70-1/2 or older and you have a retirement account, the IRS may mandate that you to take a Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) each year.
A qualified charitable distribution (QCD) is a direct transfer of funds from your IRA to the Fairbanks Library Foundation, and QCDs can be counted toward satisfying your RMD. In addition to benefiting FLF, your QCD excludes the amount donated from your taxable income. Keeping your taxable income lower may reduce the impact to certain tax credits and deductions, including Social Security and Medicare. It’s a win-win donation to the Fairbanks Library Foundation!
