OWN A TREE OF HISTORY!

The beloved Noel Wien Library trees live on! Would you like a living memory of the original Ficus Benjiminus trees from the Library lobby? Now is your chance!
The Library Foundation is making is possible for you to purchase a planted start to grace your living room, or the homes of your children and grandchildren who grew up with those trees. We harvested cuttings from the original trees, nurtured them until they rooted, and planted the starts. These beautiful, healthy “baby trees” can be purchased starting on or around October 15th for $20. The starts will be available for pick-up at Noel Wien’s 40th Anniversary Celebration November 3, 2017 from 6:30pm-9pm. Proceeds from this fundraiser will benefit the Fairbanks Library Foundation and therefore your public libraries.
